Conference/Convegno “Constitutional Acts of Scotland: 1320-2016. And Beyond?”

Ravenna, 12th and 13th May 2022 | 12 e 13 Maggio 2022
Studying the constitutional history of Scotland in its relationship with England, before and after the Union, is the aim of this conference.
An interdisciplinary approach will be taken and scholars from different fields, both from the United Kingdom and from Italy, will be involved. All papers will be in English.
The conference is listed on the S.O.F.I.A. website among the refresher courses that can be taken by high school teachers in Italy (https://sofia.istruzione.it/; ID.71751).
Participation to the conference is free of charge, but prior registration is required. The deadline for registration is on Thursday, 5th May.

Questo convegno internazionale, che radunerà a Ravenna studiose e studiosi provenienti da diversi ambiti disciplinari, tanto dall’Italia quanto dal Regno Unito, intende indagare la storia costituzionale della Scozia nello specifico aspetto di quegli atti che rappresentano momenti cruciali del rapporto tra questo Paese e l’Inghilterra, prima e dopo l’Unione del 1707.
Tutte le relazioni e le discussioni avranno luogo in lingua inglese.
La partecipazione al convegno rappresenterà attività di formazione ed aggiornamento per gli insegnanti di scuola superiore (https://sofia.istruzione.it/; iniziativa formativa ID.71751).
La partecipazione al convegno è gratuita, ma è necessaria la previa iscrizione entro giovedì 5 maggio.
