Theater Workshop for College Students

The theater workshop, organized by the Teatro delle Albe and Ravenna Teatro “non-scuola” , is open to students at the Ravenna Campus. It will be led again this year by Roberto Magnani and Antonio Maiani, and will conclude with a performance that will premiere as part of the “non-school” festival in March/April 2027.

The workshop will consist of 20 evening sessions, each lasting approximately 2 hours. The first session will be on Monday, November 9, at 9:00 p.m. at the Teatro Rasi (Via di Roma 39); thereafter, the course will be held every Monday evening (always at the Teatro Rasi, unless otherwise announced).
By practicing a few simple preparatory exercises aimed at developing theatrical techniques, involving both the use of the body and the voice, we will proceed to create an original dramatic score. Just as the chorus is at the center of the stage in Greek theater, here too, collective performance will be essential to bringing out the varied and distinct individualities of the group through improvisation, dialects, stumbles, dreams, stutters, and desires.

Thanks to the support of the Fondazione Flaminia, the workshop is completely free and will run from November 2026 through April 2027.
